Jackson Can Keep His Giraffe

SACRAMENTO —
Pop star Michael Jackson will be allowed to add a giraffe to the menagerie at his Encino estate after all--as long as he promises to give the animal a good home, game officials decided today.
The reclusive singer, who already plays host to a chimpanzee, llamas, deer and a python named Muscles, was granted a license to keep the 6-month-old giraffe, which was spotted and removed by a game warden earlier this month. Jackson, 27, did not appear at the meeting.
