The National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics established the all-sports competition in 1969. It measures the success of a school’s overall athletic program by the accumulation of points in post-season competition on the district, area and national levels.

Wayland Baptist finished third in the men’s competition, while Central Washington and Central of Oklahoma tied for fourth.
