Composer Dominic Frontiere pleaded innocent in federal court today to tax evasion charges based on the alleged scalping of Super Bowl tickets, and his attorney, Bruce I. Hochman, said he could prove that Frontiere paid the government all that was required.

U.S. Magistrate Venetta Tassopulos read Frontiere his constitutional rights, then arraigned him on the three tax counts: making a false tax return, making false statements to Internal Revenue Service investigators and obstructing an IRS proceeding. Frontiere, 55, husband of Los Angeles Rams football team owner Georgia Frontiere, is free on $5,000 bond.
