It’s so complicated going to the movies these days. How many people walked into theaters showing Charles Bronson’s bloody “Murphy’s Law”--when what they’d really wanted to see was the idyllic “Murphy’s Romance?”

It’s not getting any better. Now we’ve got “Big Trouble” and “Big Trouble in Little China.” Next week: “Club Paradise” and “Not Quite Paradise.”

Could it get worse? You bet!

Later this year, we’ll have “The Fly” vs. “We Fly” vs. “The Boy Who Could Fly.” And “Let’s Get Harry” vs. “Harry and the Hendersons.” And . . .
