Two Washington State football players began serving 60-day jail sentences following convictions for the theft of a stereo, authorities said.
Whitman County Superior Court Judge Philip Faris sentenced quarterback Edward Cleo Blount, 22, of Pomona and safety Charles Kevin Thomasson, 20, of Sacramento to 60-day terms Friday.
