Murray’s Writing Is Work of Art, Too

Those of us who have spent a career as working reporters have long noted, with as little envy as we could manage, that Jim Murray wins one or more awards almost every year for “best sportswriting.” How about making this the year for the award he most deserves, “best writing.”

How about nominating Jim’s July 8 plea for public attendance at the retinitis pigmentosa dinner for the Pulitzer Prize?
