A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in the driveway of his Logan Heights home after an argument with a woman early Sunday afternoon.
San Diego police are searching for the woman allegedly involved in the altercation, Jame Carol Oliver, who fled the scene in a brown car later recovered in the 4400 block of Dwight Street, Sgt. Chuck Sleeper said.
Frank James Hamlin was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital at 1:56 p.m., about an hour after police were called to his home in the 300 block of Gloria Street. They found him in the driveway with a single gunshot wound in the chest.
Witnesses told police that Hamlin and Oliver had been arguing before she allegedly drew a pistol and shot him, Sleeper said.
