Strings Are Beaten by Sacramento, 27-24

Robert Van’t Hof defeated Eliott Teltscher in singles, 6-2, then teamed with Larry Stefanki to win the men’s doubles and with Mary Lou Piatek to take the mixed doubles as Sacramento scored a 27-24 victory over the Los Angeles Strings Friday night before 1,012 fans at the Forum.

The Strings (4-9) and out of playoff contention, will wind up their season tonight at Sacramento.
