Laguna Niguel : Driver Killed When Car Overturns, Ejecting Him
A 19-year-old Laguna Beach motorist was killed early Saturday when his car overturned and ejected him along Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel, authorities said.
Timothy John Sanders, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered head injuries and died at the scene of the 12:58 a.m. crash, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Bill Sonka said.
Three passengers in the auto who were wearing seat belts received only minor injuries, Sonka said. They were treated at Mission Viejo Community Hospital and released, he said.
Sanders’ vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Crown Valley Parkway, east of Arlington Drive, when it went out of control, struck the right curb and overturned, ejecting Sanders, Sonka said.
