Body Found in Gulch Poses Mystery
Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide investigators were attempting to determine the cause of death and identity of a partly decomposed body found Wednesday in the Dry Gulch area of Santa Clarita Valley, authorities said. Gun enthusiasts frequently practice in the area.
The body was found about 1:30 p.m. along Lake Hughes Road in San Francisquito Canyon, Deputy Sam Jones said. It was not known who discovered the body and no other information was available, Jones said.
