Cal Brydon Wins in Los Alamitos Opener
The 1986 summer-fall harness meet at Los Alamitos Race Course opened Wednesday with a field of eight challengers going after heavily favored Cal Brydon in the $12,200 Invitational Inaugural Trot.
Cal Brydon immediately took the lead and held on to win in 2:00.2. It was the third straight win for Cal Brydon, who held off a fast-closing Oso Speedy and Paul Keays by a half-length.
