San Diego police are looking for three men who were involved in the shooting of a man Thursday night in the 700 block of South Gregory Street.
Residents reported seeing a black Pontiac Trans Am drive down the block several times within a 10-minute period around 7:30 p.m., police said. On the last pass, a passenger in the back seat fired six to eight shots from a shotgun.
Several of the shots hit Abraham John Wilson, 31, in the back and buttocks, police said. Officials said it was a random drive-by shooting and that Wilson just happened to be outside.
Wilson is listed in fair condition at UC San Diego Medical Center.
