Quarterback Neil Lomax and wide receiver Roy Green threw first-half touchdown passes Saturday night to lead the St. Louis Cardinals to a 14-7 exhibition victory over the Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears at Chicago.

The victory enabled St. Louis to even its exhibition record at 2-2. Chicago fell to 3-1.

There were several fights in the game, including a bench-clearing brawl midway through the third quarter. Running back Ottis Anderson, linebacker Charlie Baker and cornerback Lionel Washington of the Cardinals and tackle Keith Van Horne of the Bears were ejected.

The fight, which took place along the St. Louis sidelines, started between Bear wide receiver Keith Ortego and Washington. At one point, Bear tight end Pat Dunsmore was knocked down by several Cardinals, punched and kicked by Baker.
