La Mesa
Two people were killed on California 125 Friday when two cars collided head on, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The victims were Sharon Sisson, 38, of La Mesa and a 23-year-old Chula Vista woman whose name was not released pending notification of her relatives.
According to the CHP, Sisson was southbound on the highway when her car bumped a tow truck driven by Thomas Todd, 28, of Chula Vista. Sisson’s car then went out of control, jumped across the center divider and smashed into the vehicle driven by the Chula Vista woman.
Todd was unharmed.
The CHP said it has not been determined what caused Sisson’s car and the tow truck to collide.
