Bottles containing steroids were found last spring in the dormitory room of Nebraska football players Lawrence Pete and Neil Smith, according to Mike Heavican, Lancaster County attorney.

Tom Osborne, Nebraska’s coach, and Hal Anderson, attorney for Pete and Smith, said that although steroids were found, there was no evidence that either player used them.
