The San Diego County coroner’s office identified the victim as Richard Joseph Boget Jr., a painter who lived on Broadway in El Cajon. A coroner’s spokesman said Boget was found dead in his home at 11:05 p.m. with several gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.
