Chang Chong Gu of South Korea retained his World Boxing Council light-flyweight title with a unanimous decision over Francisco Montiel of Mexico at Seoul, South Korea.
Chang weighed 107, Montiel 106 3/4. Chang is 31-1, Montiel 22-5.
It was Chang’s 10th defense of the title he won from Panama’s Hilario Zapata in March 1984.
