Washington Redskin running back Kelvin Bryant underwent arthroscopic surgery on two stretched ligaments in his left knee and will be out for at least six weeks.
Bryant injured the knee in Washington’s 10-6 victory over the Raiders Sunday. The mishap occurred with 18 seconds left in the first half, and Bryant sat out the rest of the game.
Bryant’s injury was the second-major one in the game against the Raiders. Redskin linebacker Mel Kaufman ruptured his Achilles’ tendon and will be lost for the season.
