Montana Injury Could End Dazzling Saga in NFL
The NFL’s all-time greatest quarterback, according to statistics, the guiding force of the 49ers, twice MVP in the Super Bowl, and five times Pro Bowl quarterback, has been felled by injury. This is not only a numbing blow to San Francisco, but to the game itself, for Joe Montana created inexplicable excitement whenever he took over the throttle for the 49ers. He spelled not only uncommon ability, but charisma. Should his skills be diminished by the injury, a dazzling saga in the NFL will have ended.
