Dana Hills Has Field Day

The Dana Hills High School freshman and sophomore cross-country teams dominated Division III competition Saturday at the Laguna Hills Invitational at Laguna Hills High School.

The Dolphins’ freshman and sophomore boys’ teams and the sophomore girls’ team won titles. Corona del Mar won titles in the Division II boys’ freshman and sophomore competition. In Division I, Woodbridge won the boys’ sophomore and junior team titles.

Mark Davis of San Diego High School was named the invitational’s outstanding boy athlete for finishing first in his race in 15 minutes flat. Tracy Leichter was named outstanding girl athlete for her 18:04 first-place time.
