USD Women Lose to Eastern Washington

SAN DIEGO —  The University of San Diego women’s volleyball team committed 37 hitting errors Wednesday night as Eastern Washington University (6-3) beat the Toreros (0-6) in four games, 15-8, 15-7, 9-15, 15-3.

USD’s Gina Trapletti led all hitters with 13 kills. USD was without its usual setter, Leisa Hagen, for the second straight game. Hagen had her tonsils removed last week.

The Toreros play at the Northern Arizona Holiday Inn Classic this weekend before they play host to United States International University on Wednesday.
