TWA has introduced some new bargain opportunities.

If you buy a round-trip ticket on any fare to any of 22 points on TWA’s domestic system, you can get a Travel Value-Pak booklet with discount coupons on car rentals, hotels, restaurants and sightseeing tours and attractions.

There is also a coupon permitting ticketing 14 days in advance for 30-day Super-Saver fares with a car-rental booking.

Three versions of the coupon booklet have been produced covering the East, Florida and California. The discount coupons are usable until Dec. 31, except in Florida where the cutoff point is Dec. 15.

The coupons are non-transferable. You may have to show your TWA ticket upon use of the coupons, so keep your ticket handy. In addition, you may have to identify yourself as a TWA Value-Pak coupon holder at the time you make hotel reservations.

Hotel rooms are subject to availability, and you can’t use the coupons with any other discounts for hotels or car rentals.

Contact a travel agent or TWA at (800) 221-2000.

If you plan to do some driving in Florida, you can pick up a free Florida Travelers Discount Guide, which has discount coupons for food, fuel, lodging, entertainment and shopping plus maps, mileage charts between different points and exit information from three of Florida’s major interstate highways (Interstates 95, 75 and 4).

The guide, published quarterly, is available at tourist information centers, welcome centers and gasoline stations along the three arteries. You can get a copy in advance by sending $1 to cover postage to Florida Travel Discount Guide, 618 S. Main St., Gainesville, Fla. 32601.

Travelers to New York also have a coupon booklet available. Even though the Statue of Liberty has reopened, you can still take advantage of “I Love New York Liberty Passport” coupon booklets until the end of the year.

The booklets contain discounts involving more than 200 statewide hotels, restaurants, museums and sightseeing attractions. Many of the coupons, which also cover New York City, offer two admissions for the price of one.
