UCSD Rated No. 1 in Volleyball Poll

MISSION, Kan. —
UC San Diego, gaining all the first-place votes, was selected the No. 1 team in the season’s first NCAA Division III women’s volleyball poll announced Tuesday.
UCSD (20-3) had 120 points, 10 more than second-place Calvin College. The only other West Coast schools in the top 20 were Menlo (21-3), which was tied for sixth with 89 votes, and Pomona-Pitzer (9-8), which was 18th with 15 votes.
