Semipro Bears Are 3-0

The Bellflower Bears, who lead the Southern California Semipro Football League with a 3-0 record, will play the San Fernando Valley Freelancers Sunday at 1 p.m. at Taft High School in Woodland Hills. The Bears have a strong ground game with backs Jimmy DeWitt, Bernard Jackson and Vodak Hawkins running behind a line that averages 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds.
