Struggling CS Fullerton Faces Utah State in Homecoming Game
Although its 1-6 record may indicate otherwise, Cal State Fullerton is not without incentive in the last five games of its 1986 season.
Starting tonight, the Titans are playing to avoid the unenviable distinction of finishing with the worst record in the school’s football history.
Tonight’s homecoming game against Utah State at Santa Ana Stadium at 6 represents the Titans’ best chance to avert their worst season. After the Aggies, Fullerton’s remaining opponents have a combined 15-6 record.
Also, three of Fullerton’s last four games are on the road, including next Saturday’s game at Hawaii, which precedes a Thursday game at Fresno State.
