Woman Seized After Ex-Boyfriend Stabbed
An 18-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of murder in the stabbing death of her former boyfriend, Los Angeles police said.
The woman, Sherry Ann Contreras, was being held without bail at the Van Nuys jail, said Officer Ronald King.
Witnesses told police that Contreras and the former boyfriend, an unidentified 18-year-old, had been quarreling at an apartment in the 13000 block of Saticoy Street in North Hollywood about midnight when the ex-boyfriend was stabbed in the chest.
Contreras was arrested about an hour later at a nearby convenience store, King said.
