Al Bianchi, assistant coach for the Phoenix Suns, has been fined $500 by the National Basketball Assn. for threatening remarks he made to Detroit Pistons’ center Bill Laimbeer during an exhibition games at Phoenix.
Laimbeer knocked Sun center Alvan Adams down with an elbow to keep him from making a layup in an Oct. 14 exhibition game. Later, Bianchi told reporters: ‘We’re going to get (Laimbeer) if it takes one, two or three years from now.
