San Diego police are seeking a man and a woman for questioning in connection with the shooting death Sunday night of a man in East San Diego. Rudolph A. Gonzalez, 38, died shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday at Mercy Hospital, four hours after he was found lying in the living room of an apartment in the 4600 block of 32nd Street with gunshot wounds to the abdomen, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.

Early Monday, San Diego police issued an all-points bulletin for William Uvaldo, 18, and Susan Machlitt, 27, Robinson said. Witnesses reported seeing the two flee from the crime scene in a reportedly stolen red Mitsubishi pickup truck, he said. The bulletin described the two as being armed and dangerous, but Robinson stressed that police are seeking them only for questioning.
