A car bomb was discovered in Huntington Beach, but police said they would not provide information about whose car was involved, the possible motive or other details because a suspect was still at large. Huntington Beach Police Lt. Jack Reinholtz said his department’s bomb squad had deactivated the device. “We did have a car bomb that was discovered,” Reinholtz said. “Due to the sensitivity of the information I cannot release it at this time.” Reinholtz said he could not even describe how the bomb was discovered.
