McClintock Boutique Set for South Coast Plaza

San Francisco designer Jessica McClintock will join the ranks of designer boutiques opening at the new extension of South Coast Plaza in time to cash in on holiday sales.

The Costa Mesa boutique, which will carry only McClintock-designed lines of children’s, young girls’ and women’s clothing, opens Friday. The designer’s only other boutique is located in San Francisco, although a third store is under construction in New York.

While McClintock-designed clothing is available in most major speciality clothing stores, the boutiques carry designs and lines made exclusively for those outlets and not sold elsewhere. Those lines include a new, made-to-measure couturier line which ranges in price from $1,200 to $3,500 per garment.
