WEEKEND SPORTS RUNDOWN

Sunday will bring three big pro football games, including a prime-time battle between the Rams and Dallas Cowboys at Anaheim Stadium.

ABC will televise the Rams-Cowboys collision at 6 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42) as John Robinson’s team tries to maintain a hold on first place in the NFC West over the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers will be in action Sunday at 1 p.m. (4)(36)(39) as they take on the New York Jets at Candlestick Park. That game can be seen after the New York Giants and Washington Redskins fight for the top slot in the NFC East Sunday at 10 a.m. (2)(8).

Faced with a must-win situation, the Raiders will play the Seattle Seahawks at the Kingdome Monday on ABC at 6 p.m. (7)(3)(10) (42).

On today’s college football schedule, the nation’s military academies will be out in force in two games--Army vs. Navy at 11 a.m. (2)(8), and Air Force vs. Brigham Young at noon (7)(3)(10) (42).

Following the Army-Navy clash on CBS, college football’s Heisman Trophy winner will be named in a live half-hour telecast originating from New York at 2:30 p.m. (2)(8).

Meanwhile, KNBC-TV will court viewers with “College Basketball Top 10” Sunday at noon (4). In the half-hour program, Bill Fleming interviews players and coaches of the country’s highest-ranked teams.

In hockey, the Kings and Chicago Blackhawks will take the Forum ice tonight at 7:30 on cable’s Prime Ticket.
