San Juan Capistrano : 4 Injured in Three-Car Collision on Highway
Four people suffered minor injuries in a three-car collision on the Ortega Highway near La Novia Avenue, the county Sheriff’s Department reported Friday.
The injured were treated and released at Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo, Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson said. The accident occurred at 9:40 p.m., and the cause is still under investigation, he said.
Olson said the driver of the lead vehicle in the pileup was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. He is a 17-year-old juvenile from San Juan Capistrano, whose identity was withheld.
