Police have identified a body found in the desert as a radio station saleswoman who was last seen Oct. 28 at a Bullhead City market near her home.

The body of Pamela Joyce Simmonds, 35, was discovered Saturday about 50 feet from Highway 68, six miles east of Davis Dam, by a Swiss tourist snapping photographs, police dispatcher Sue Gresham said. Authorities released no information on the cause of death.

Police last month investigated possible links between the disappearance of Simmonds and a suspected cross-country crime spree by a man and woman arrested in the kidnaping and murder of a young Redlands, Calif., woman.

The two--James Gregory Marlow, 30, and Cynthia Lynn Coffman, 24--also were suspected in the strangulation of a Huntington Beach woman.

But last month Bullhead City Police Detective Barry Reichard said it appeared that the two were not involved in the Simmonds disappearance since their fingerprints do not match those on the Simmonds car.
