Orange County College Basketball : Lucas Scores 25 to Lead SCC Win

Rob Lucas scored 25 points to lead Southern California College to a 78-59 victory over Cal State Bernardino in a nonconference game at SCC in Costa Mesa.
Jeff Stephens and Tod Dixon added 13 for SCC (5-3). Gregg Bujnovsky, who attended Capistrano Valley High School, led San Bernardino (3-4) with 16 points.
In nonconference women’s action:
UC San Bernardino 85, Southern California College 79--Celeste Gates scored 31 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the Lady Coyotes (8-3) at SCC. Lisa Terry scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Delores Effinger scored 18 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the Vanguards (4-6).
