Fire aboard a boat spread to a wooden dock on Eureka’s Humboldt Bay, destroying five craft tied up there and two nearby fish processing plants and causing an estimated $1 million in damage. No one was reported injured in the blaze at the Washington Street Dock B. About 70 firefighters battled the blaze before containing it.
