MIAMI —
A husband-and-wife FBI team shot to death a man who they said tried to hold them up as they left a bar early Sunday, authorities said.
Suzanne Monserrate, 41, was wounded in the chest in the parking lot gunfight, FBI spokesman Paul Miller said, and was hospitalized in stable condition. She and her husband, Frank, 37, are agents based in Miami.
Investigators had not yet identified the dead man, and would give no further details of the incident.
