Community sentiment against the Green Bay Packers is so high that the sexual assault trial of defensive back Mossy Cade, accused of three counts of second-degree sexual assault in a November 1985 incident, must be postponed, a judge ruled.

Judge Richard Greenwood granted Cade’s request for delay of the Circuit Court trial that was to have begun Jan. 26, saying he would reschedule it for late April or early May.

Greenwood made his decision after listening to testimony about public attitude toward the Packers since the arrests of several players on sexual assault charges in the last two seasons.
