Pacific 10 Roundup : McMillan Leads Arizona to 96-59 Win Over WSU

Craig McMillan scored 21 points, Sean Elliott added 19, and Tom Tolbert contributed 18 Thursday night to lead Arizona to a 96-59 victory over Washington State in a Pacific 10 Conference game at Pullman, Wash.
The win boosted the Wildcats to 8-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play, while Washington State, which got 22 points from Brian Quinnett, slipped to 6-7 and 2-3.
The game was played in the old Bohler Gym after a power failure put a portion of the Washington State campus in darkness, including Friel Court. Bohler Gym was Washington State’s home court until 1972.
Washington 81, Arizona State 72--Seniors Greg Hill and Phil Zevenbergen scored 21 points each as the Huskies held off a second-half charge by the Sun Devils at Seattle.
League-leading Washington improved its record to 4-1 in conference play and 10-6 overall.
Arizona State, led by senior guard Steve Beck with 20 points, lost its fifth game in a row and fell to 0-5 and 4-9.
