Orange County College Basketball : West Coast Christian Rallies to Win

Glen Parrish scored 20 points to lead West Coast Christian College to a 78-72 victory over Christ College Friday in a Western Christian Athletic Assn. game played at Fresno.
Christ College of Irvine (2-2, 8-9) had a 36-34 lead at halftime, but Parrish scored 12 in the second half and forward Ed Clark, who finished with 19, had 14 in the second half to lead the West Coast Christian rally.
Victor Townes had a game-high 22 points and Mike Thompson added 21 for Christ College. Townes also had 10 rebounds.
In nonconference women’s play:
UC San Diego 81, Southern California 69--Beth Copeland scored 18 points and Tracy Ragatz 16 for UC San Diego (10-7), which had 5 players in double figures. The Vanguards are 7-10.
