A Pasadena Cruise Fair will be held today at the Pasadena Elk’s Lodge from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Nine cruise lines will be represented. Films will be shown and prizes offered. Call Mission World Travel at (818) 792-2151 to be eligible for pre-registration prizes and information.

Registration for spring classes for would-be travel agents is open at West Los Angeles College, Culver City. The semester runs Feb. 2 through June 13 at Los Airport College, 9700 S. The Whittier Public Library is sponsoring a free travel slide/narration program, “Discovering Great Britain: Blueprint to Travel” featuring travel consultant Harlowe Weber, on Monday at the Whittwood Branch, 10537 Santa Gertrudes, and Wednesday at the Central Library, 7344 S. Air Afrique has begun direct service to the West African countries of Benin and Togo. Flights leave New York to Benin on Saturdays and to Togo on Wednesdays.
