UCI’s Doubles Team Defeated by Trinity

Trinity University’s doubles team of Elvyn Barrable and Jana Klepac defeated UC Irvine’s Kathy Rose and Uma Rao, 6-4, 6-4, in a second-round match of the Women’s Intercollegiate Invitational Thursday at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades.

Barrable and Klepac went into the match ranked No. 20 in the nation.

In the third round of the Adidas Invitational in Rancho Mirage, UCLA’s Tim Trigueiro defeated Irvine’s Julian Barham, 4-6, 7-6, 6-4, and USC’s Luke Jensen beat UCI’s Mike Downs, 6-2, 6-4.
