There was a lot of talk last week about the possibility of the heavily favored Giants being overconfident.
The touted New York defense was less than dominating in the early going Sunday, but Coach Bill Parcells said it had nothing to do with his team being complacent.
“We were pretty shaky to start with,” Parcells admitted, “but it was because we were just running wild on defense. Maybe it was the magnitude of the game, but it was a while before we settled down.”
