Radioactive Water Spill Contained at N.J. Plant

FORKED RIVER, N.J. —
More than 10,000 gallons of slightly radioactive water spilled through a broken valve at the Oyster Creek nuclear power plant, but nearly all of the water was retrieved, plant operators said Tuesday. The leak was discovered during the night in a pipeline leading from a 500,000-gallon storage tank.
