An Inglewood woman, out with friends the night before her scheduled wedding, was killed when the car in which she was a passenger bounced off a guard rail, overturned and struck a center divider on La Brea Avenue near Veronica Street in Los Angeles. Lisa Latimer, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, Terri Lynne Phillips, 23, of Gardena, who left the accident scene, was found at the home of Latimer’s parents eight hours later, and was booked on suspicion of felony manslaughter and for driving under the influence of alcohol.
