Paul Newman may get his seventh Academy Award nomination Feb. 11 for his role in “The Color of Money,” but after six previous losses, he said Monday he’s tired of the Oscar sweepstakes. “It’s like chasing a beautiful woman for 80 years,” Newman, 62, said of the Oscar race at a London news conference. “Finally, she relents and you say, ‘I’m terribly sorry. I’m tired.’ ” The actor, in London for the film’s March 6 British debut, last year received an honorary Academy Award for his overall film career.
