Rolling Hills : Swanson on Transit Groups
City Councilwoman Gordana Swanson, a member of the Southern California Rapid Transit District’s Board of Directors, has been appointed to two committees studying regional and statewide transportation issues. The Southern California Assn. of Governments has named Swanson to the Blue Ribbon Committee for the Los Angeles International Airport Transportation Study. She has been reappointed to the transportation and public works policy committee of the League of California Cities. A councilwoman since 1976, Swanson has been on the RTD board since 1981.
