Stubbs and 6 Other Dodgers Sign; Only 3 Remain Unsigned

First baseman-outfielder Franklin Stubbs and six other Dodgers have signed one-year contracts, the club announced Wednesday.

Also signing were outfielders Ralph Bryant and Jose Gonzalez, pitchers Brian Holton and Balvino Galvez, shortstop Craig Shipley and third baseman Jeff Hamilton.

The signings raised to 34 the number of Dodgers under contract for the 1987 season. Remaining unsigned are relief pitcher Ken Howell, shortstop Mariano Duncan and pitcher Tim Scott.
