Basketball Coach J.D. Barnett of the University of Tulsa suspended starting center Don Royster for personal reasons, school officials said. Barnett, whose team is 18-5, also dismissed center Anthony Fobbs for personal reasons Jan. 12.
Royster, a 6-7 junior from San Antonio who transferred from the University of Mississippi before last season, started 14 games for Tulsa this season, averaging 7.3 points and 5 rebounds.
