CBS also wouldn’t confirm another Washington Post report Monday that the network might be dumping the strongly supported but rarely watched “Designing Women” to replace it with movies. While the the ratings of “Murder, She Wrote” continue strong from 8 to 9 p.m., they haven’t provided the kind of lead-in the network expected for “Women,” which comes on at 9.
