PCAA Basketball : Fullerton Plays New Mexico St. Tonight
Cal State Fullerton will try to partially disentangle itself from the mess the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. basketball standings have become tonight when it plays New Mexico State at 7:30 in Titan Gym.
The best Fullerton (14-11 overall, 7-9 in the PCAA) can do is finish .500 in conference play, but that would be good enough for a berth in the conference tournament. The Titans could clinch a spot with a victory tonight, coupled with a University of the Pacific loss at Nevada Las Vegas.
New Mexico State (15-13, 9-8) will conclude its regular season tonight knowing that it is the only team besides UNLV to have clinched a spot in the conference tournament.
